What you'll see underwater ?
Slip beneath the surface into a world of vibrant, thriving coral gardens, kept warm all year round by crystal-clear water between 27 and 29°C, with visibility regularly exceeding 20 metres.
Graceful sea turtles glide past as schools of tropical fish shimmer in every color imaginable, weaving between the reef in perfect synchrony.
Lift your head between swims, and the view keeps giving.Bali’s mountains rise behind the shoreline, while on a clear day, Java’s volcanoes stand tall in the distance across the strait.
Turn toward the beach, and you might just catch wild deer wandering peacefully along the sand, a rare, magical sight found nowhere else in Bali.
How the trip works ?
Your day starts at 8:50 AM at Mame Diving School, where you’ll gear up with fins, mask and snorkel before a quick shuttle whisks you to the beach.
From there, hop aboard a speedboat for a scenic 30 to 35 minute ride across the strait to Menjangan island.
You’ll explore two different snorkeling spots, with a relaxed break in between to soak up the island and enjoy lunch surrounded by nature. As the afternoon winds down, the speedboat carries you back to the mainland, and a shuttle drops you back at the dive center by around 2:30 PM, salty, sun-kissed and full of stories
